Dedicated to the memory of John Steer
John Steer was born in Croydon on April 17 1955 and died at home on 17th July 2021.
He was a lifelong West Ham fan and enjoyed travelling to watch the team play and to go on holiday in general. He was married to Caroline for 26 years and diagnosed with cancer in 2013, but he did not let it slow him down.
He will be remembered by his family, Mary, Robert and Lesley, Geoff and Bernard. His in-laws, Richard, Marion and Martyn, Maureen and Robert and his nephews, nieces, and grand nephews Geraint and Kate, Alex, Rory and Megan, Lauren, Olivia, Dylan, Finlay and Ben as well as his huge circle of friends.

Knew John from our days together at Croydon Tech. College, playing football on a Wednesday afternoon, and then for Tamworth F.C. in the Croydon Sunday League for many years. Deepest condolences to Caroline and family.
